What is irc in gameplays?
A lot of server in sa:mp using a irc or Internet Relay Chat service, it can be just a chatroom, or a server echo, where we can see ingame chats, commands, events, etc, we also usually able to send a message ingame from server echo

How to connect?
there's a lot of sa:mp servers websites having their own irc service on their own websites (you will usually logged in with a pre-defined name)

or you can use mIRC, a free irc client

oh ****, ok2, first go to 'servers' in mirc and click 'add servers' then you type 'irc.sa-mp.com' then you type your nickname and real name on the box, then click on the server you just add and connect, then it will ask you to join a room, i suggest #ugp.echo to join first
